Mental health and psoriasis

Did you know that one in four people in the world will be affected by a mental health condition at some point in their lives? What’s more, those living with psoriasis have a 39 percent increased risk of being diagnosed with depression than those without the disease, while the risk of an anxiety diagnosis is 31 percent higher. Those with psoriatic arthritis and psoriasis suffer higher rates of anxiety and depression than those with psoriasis alone.

We live in a world with so much stigma attached to both mental health conditions and psoriasis.

Let's change that!

It is SO important that we talk about the connection between psoriasis and mental health conditions. In this video, I share my story and give you my top three tips for dealing with mental health conditions and psoriasis.
